Version 2.77

Description

Eslicarbazepine (ESL) is an anti-seizure medication that is used to treat partial-onset seizures. It works by inactivating voltage-gated sodium channels, similar to carbamazepine and oxcarbazepine, and is better tolerated. ESL therapy has been shown to improve brain power spectral activity and enhance cortical connectivity. PMID: 30619030 Source: Regenstrief LOINC
