Term Description

Position: Hold infant in vertical suspension supported at the upper chest with the child facing examiner.
Procedure: Lower the infant to stand on the support surface. Observe legs, trunk, and head. For infants with no head control, position the baby so as to provide support for the chin and give no higher than a 1.
