HCV FibroSURE is a noninvasive blood test that combines the quantitative results of 6 biochemical markers with the age and gender of the patient in a patented artificial intelligence algorithm to generate a measure of fibrosis and necroinflammatory activity in the liver.
FibroSure and FibroTest are the same; FibroSure is the name used in the U.S.; similarly, FibroTest-ActiTest is the same as HCV FibroSure.
